Reviewer Guidelines
Reviewers for TRAIIL are asked to carefully review entries, complete the Peer Review Rubric, and submit the reviews when prompted during the review process.
Reviewers will not directly communicate with authors. Editors will not make reviews directly available to the author(s) but will carefully consider review feedback when they correspond with the authors.
Reviewers will only be expected to review the entry one time. If revisions are suggested, the editors will contact the authors and ensure they are successfully made.
If reviewers use AI for the review process, they should declare this upon submitting their feedback. However, reviewers should preserve the confidentiality of the peer review process by not putting unpublished submissions that they are reviewing (or information about them) into publicly available AI tools.
Reviewers also have an optional opportunity to submit a "Cover Letter" to the Editors regarding the entry of their peer review. This is an optional area to share additional information with the Editors that the reviewer feels may not be appropriate to include in the original peer review rubric. Additional information about this Cover Letter is available when the reviewer goes to submit their review.
If there are technical questions about the review process, please visit the following Digital Commons help page: How Reviews are Submitted or contact . You may also contact for content-related questions.
