Abstract
The purpose of this study is to propose an extended M-R model within the alternative golf context. This model consists of three main attributes of alternative golf as environmental stimuli (i.e., physical environment, food and beverage, and service) that affect satisfaction and, in turn, lead to consumers’ behavioral responses (i.e., activity involvement and behavioral intentions). Additionally, the moderating effects of recreational motivation and golfer’s skill level are examined within the research framework. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to analyze data collected from alternative golf facility visitors. Implications for academia and industry are provided.
