Howard Phillips Hall taken from the Reflecting Pond. This picture was taken when there was still driving on the road shown. Howard Phillips Hall (then known as the Classroom Building (not to be confused with the current Classroom Building I on the North side of campus) viewed from the near side edge of the reflecting pond, with several students walking. It was dedicated to Howard Phillips in 1981. Howard Phillips (1902-1979) was a prominent Orlando Businessman and philanthropist, and the son of "Doctor Phillips", the former orange grove magnate.
