Old Winter Park Hotel.
Black-and-white photograph of the Old Winter Park Hotel taken in 1890, with guests standing on the porch and balcony. The hotel is located next to what is currently Taylor's Pharmacy. In 1900 the hotel was vacant and rundown. F.W. Shepherd opened a skating rink there in either 1904 or 1906, but it did not pay and soon was discontiuned. Maxon's drugstore and post office occupied the building next door, which is currently Taylor's Pharmacy (information was inscribed in ink on the back of the photograph. Photograph was a gift from Mrs. Bertrand C. Pike.

A black and white photograph of White Hall and its front lawns (left) and the original Faith Hall. Faith hall is the two-story building partially obscured by a utility pole. The tree-lined, unpaved street that is now Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, and the farmland from the school's Agricultural Division, where Harrison Rhodes Hall, Gross Science Hall, Moore Gymnasium and other buildings now stand, is shown on the far right. This photo was taken when Bethune-Cookman Universty was known as the Daytona Normal and Industrial School for Girls. Large palm and oak trees can be seen in the image. Parade down First Street, Sanford, Florida
Black and white photograph of a patriotic parade coming down First Street in Sanford, Florida. The parade consists of automobiles, some of which have people seated in them and are decorated with American flags. Some vehicles are parked along the curb of the street and people are watching the parade from the inside them. On the sidewalks at the right of the image is a small group of African American men, women, and children, who are watching the parade. The building second from the left of the image is the Hotchkiss Building (built 1887). At the right of the image is a building advertising "Woodruff and Watson, Clothing and Shoes", as well as a painted advertisement for "Wrigley's Spearmint Pepsin Gum." The photograph was made from a glass plate negative which no longer exists.

Paul Cobb, baseball player for the Jacksonville Tarpons
Black-and-white photograph of baseball player John Paul Cobb. He is standing in front of a wooden fence in his baseball uniform, and is leaning to his right on a baseball bat. The letter J can be seen on his hat, the initial for the Jacksonville Tarpons baseball team. Paul Cobb played baseball for Sanford in 1916, and managed the team for part of the year. Paul Cobb is the brother of baseball player Ty Cobb. On the back of the photograph is written, "Paul Cobb, brother of Ty Cobb, played with Sanford 1916."
