Description

How can generative AI (GenAI) transform instructional design and teacher preparation? Drawing on findings from a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) case study, this interactive session will explore how pre-service English teachers use GenAI to create differentiated and culturally responsive curriculum. Through hands-on activities, attendees will engage with practical GenAI prompts for designing responsive lessons and discover actionable strategies for integrating these tools into teacher education programs. Discussions will highlight both the benefits and challenges of using GenAI in teacher preparation, leaving participants inspired and equipped with resources to help future educators meet the diverse needs of their students.
