Description

This presentation will detail how to use community participatory action research principles to co-create a graphic novel using AI to develop story characters. The stories were created with members of the farmworker-renter community from rural areas in Florida. The graphic novel aims to increase awareness about hurricane preparedness and renters' outcomes and share available resources to improve the quality of life after a disaster. It is expected to be distributed to local nonprofit organizations that provide services to farmworkers before the hurricane season.
