Abstract
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to various storyboarding and prototyping techniques when planning scrolling narratives, with a focus on workflows for Scroll Cinema.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own texts and project ideas, for which we can brainstorm scrollimation adaptations as a group, taking into account images, sound, and interactivity to devise engaging scrollies.
This workshop is ideal for creators who already have a basic familiarity with Scroll Cinema and want to deepen their craft by designing scroll experiences intentionally and strategically.

Bio
Artemio Morales is a creative technologist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for ambitious, values-driven work. A former sponsored WordPress contributor, he is founder of AltSalt, a platform dedicated to celebrating creative craft and human-centered technological innovation; and Artmayu Studios, a studio dedicated to development at the intersection of art, language, and technology. In addition to being a director and collaborator on various new media works, he is the creator of Scroll Cinema, a visual editor for creating scroll-driven electronic literature.
