This presentation will demonstrate the impact of ChatGPT Voice when integrated into a German language conversation and communication course during the 2025 spring semester. In this course students utilize ChatGPT Voice for spoken communication practice and assistance, as well as for written assistance and cultural exploration due to its capability to generate text from student dialogues. Furthermore, this presentation will explore student perceptions on the use of ChatGPT Voice by sharing results from an end of the semester Likert-type survey with open-ended questions, with a goal of gaining a deeper understanding of ChatGPT Voice' s effects on language communication.
