Description

Among the expanding set of resources to support faculty's critical engagement with Generative AI, few are designed to help instructors navigate AI's ethical, social, and systemic challenges while simultaneously encouraging the playful exploration of AI's possibilities. In this session, participants will use and evaluate resources developed through a year-long interdisciplinary learning community through which faculty investigated issues and affordances presented by AI for their teaching. Attendees will participate in a simulated "escape room" activity to expose AI's biases and then consider a guiding framework for critical-playful experimentation with AI-enhanced teaching.
