Description
AI-powered tools have both devalued the majority of traditional and long-standing student assignments (e.g., MS PowerPoint presentations dominating the university context) and opened doors for new ones. In this session, I will introduce the criteria that could make assignments modern as well as showcase what they might look like in practice. Some examples of new assignments will include designing fictitious virtual teachers, making video summaries, preparing presentations with live chatbot-assisted interventions, creating immersive educational experiences, engaging in storytelling in collaboration with AI agents, making scam or deceptive ads, etc.
