Framed Scroll of Honor given to Clara Louise Guild on the 50th anniversary of her graduation from Rollins College. Black-and-white photograph of the boat launch at the Seminole Hotel (1886-1902)and located on Lake Osceola. The boat in the photograph is the May B. and has Mr. Paige as one of its passengers. Inscription on back of photograph reads:and"Name of boat afterwards changed to 'Fanny Knowles.andand"According to information in the 'Winter Park Scapbook' compiled by Loring A. Chase, the whole statement is incorrect. 'The flagship 'Fanny Knowles' will run on Lakes Osceola, Virginia, and Mizell and her work will be supplemented by the trim little yacht 'Gussie' and 'May B.' p. 254 Nov. 11, 1887 Dorothy Shepherd Smith.and W.F. Paige was the current manager of the Seminole.
