LHS-OLA Football "Then and Now" 1979-2009
The history of the school's football program was the focus of one publication of Orlando Lutheran Academy ("Vision' Oct.2007, Vol.1-Issue 3). It featured interviews with the first football coach of the school (then named Luther High School) in the 1970s and 80s and with Orlando Lutheran Academy's (2007) football coach, Mike Viera. Also featured were photos and interviews with a member of LHS' first football team, David Duda (LHS class of 1979) and his son, Steven (OLA class of 2009). Steven was also the first offspring of a Luther High School alum to graduate from the school. Included are photos of David taken wearing his No. 15 uniform c.1980.

Black-and-white photograph of the Little Red Schoolhouse in Sanford, Florida. Sign on the front of the school reads: Primary School. The school is also known as the Eastside School, it dates back to 1883 and is on the corner of Sixth street and Palmetto avenue. Inscribed on the back of the photograph in pencil is: 2003.002.0168.

A postcard depicting two rooms in the Bethune House. The image at the top of the postcard is in black and white, and it depicts the dining room. The table seats six people, and is elongated and covered in a white tablecloth. A centerpiece sits in the middle of the table. On the right side of the room is a china cabinet which has silverware on display on top. To the left of the cabinet is floor lamp. To the left of the floor lamp is a wall hutch with china displayed. The floor is covered in an overzied rug. The image at the bottom of the postcard is of the living room in Bethune House. At the right of the image, a display case, most likely holding memorabilia of Mary McLeod Bethune's life, sits in front of a staircase leading to the second floor. Across from the staircase along the front wall is a foyer table with a mirror hanging above it. To the left of the table is the front door, and to the left of the front door is a striped couch. Curtains can partially be seen. The floor is covered by a large rug. On the back of the image is written in pencil, ""Dining room (Bethune House),"" and ""Living Room, Bethune Foundation, early 1950s."" The postcard has been glued to another piece of paper, so the original print on the back of the postcard has been peeled away. The box for the stamp on the back is visible. Also visible is, ""May McLeod Bethune Foundation,"" as well as the publisher's information.

Lob Cabin building dedication

The cabin has a wrap around porch and a large chimney. It is landscaped with bushes on each side. In the background are two unidentified white buildings. A bell tower can be seen in between the two. A building with a brick edifice can be seen at the right of the image. Many trees can be seen in the image, as well as palm trees and oak trees. In the forefront of the image is an oak tree with a notice board nailed to it with two notices. One notice is illegible, but the other reads, "Lend your talents to the creative dance club, Join up today, Phy. Ed. Dept., Hrs. daily 9-10, Sat. 1-3." On the back of the image is the year of the image and the photographer's stamp.

A black and white image of the dedication of the "Log Cabin" recreation building on the campus of Bethune-Cookman University. The cabin was a student-use facility. The cabin can be seen at the left of the image, with a wide chimney in its middle and a wraparound porch. People can be seen sitting on the porch. Rows of chairs have been placed in the field in front of the cabin, in which spectators are seated. Four men are standing along the back row of the chairs in black suits, seating guests. Three people can be seen walking toward the chairs. At the right of the cabin are two unidentified buildings, one of which is entirely visible, and the other partially visible directly at the right of the image. African American students are standing in front of the partially visible building on steps, perhaps waiting for a procession to begin. Many trees can be seen in the background of the image, including palm trees. On the back of the image is written "1939." The image is printed on Velox paper. The photographer of the image is unknown.

Lukas Family Barn: Then and Now, 2015
The Lukas Family erected a barn (c. 1915-20) in which they could live while Paul Lukas, Sr. created enough sand blocks to build a proper house several years later. The barn still stands on the original Lukas homestead. A digital image, taken in 2015, shows that the lines of the original structure are still recognizable, although improvements have, of necessity, been made over the past century.

Luncheon in Founders Hall to Welcome New Members. 1991
Newly confirmed adult members were traditionally honored with a "New Member Luncheon," following the worship service at which they were formally accepted as members of the congregation. This event was held either on Sunday, April 21 OR August 4,1991, in Founders Hall and was typically attended by families of the Pastor and Vicar, officers and other leaders in the congregation to acquaint them with the new members and their families.
