Pastor Stephen M. Tuhy shown with 27 schoolchildren outside St. Luke's first school, which was housed in the wood building formerly used as a church for several years. C. 1947-1948. Pastor Tuhy established the school by first teaching a class of pre-school age children himself. The congregation then engaged a full-time teacher to teach grades 1-8. Paul Cobb, baseball player for the Jacksonville Tarpons
Black-and-white photograph of baseball player John Paul Cobb. He is standing in front of a wooden fence in his baseball uniform, and is leaning to his right on a baseball bat. The letter J can be seen on his hat, the initial for the Jacksonville Tarpons baseball team. Paul Cobb played baseball for Sanford in 1916, and managed the team for part of the year. Paul Cobb is the brother of baseball player Ty Cobb. On the back of the photograph is written, "Paul Cobb, brother of Ty Cobb, played with Sanford 1916."

A black and white image of Paul Decker and Florence Roane, members of the Human Resources Department and teachers at Bethune-Cookman University, holding a meeting with students in a classroom on campus. Paul Decker can be seen at the left of the image, sitting in a deskchair that has been placed against the wall perpendicular to the students, who are facing the front of the room. He is wearing a patterned button-up shirt and has his coat jacket placed on top of the desk. The male teacher to the right of him is unknown. To the right of him is Florence Roane, who is wearing a light-colored dress and is laughing. The African American male teacher to her right is unknown. On the blackboard at the front of the room someone has written, "Ultimate Query: Upon whose shoulders does this responsibility rest?" The students are both African American and Caucasian men and women, and are seated in chairs which have lap desks attached. On the back of the photograph is the yearbook stamp, the date the image was taken, the photographer's stamp, and Human Relations.
