The impacts of AI continue to evolve in higher education, we are grappling in real-time with the complexity of supporting students to use AI thoughtfully when the vast majority of professors say they themselves don' t know how. (McMurtie, 2024) In Fall 2024, the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts Faculty Engagement team convened a Teaching Fellows cohort of Faculty from diverse departments to grapple with AI' s implications in their teaching. In Spring 2025, a second cohort was convened to act as teacher-leaders on AI. This session will outline the design and facilitation of these cohorts, and the emergent results.
