Description

What if generative AI could help students not only improve their research but also prepare for professional environments? This presentation demonstrates how integrating AI into an econometrics course builds the critical thinking, communication, and adaptability central to a liberally educated student. Using logbooks via collaborative chats in BoodleBox to foster reflection and AI as a tutor for practicing poster sessions and research conversations, students gained confidence and honed their skills. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for using AI to enhance research and professional preparation, empowering students across disciplines to collaborate with technology while maintaining ownership of their learning and intellectual growth.
